Education
Britton H. Allen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2002, where he majored in government and politics and minored in criminology. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of North Carolina Central Law School in 2006. He joined Allen Law Offices, PLLC in January of 2008.
Experience
Since 2006, Britton has practiced in many areas of the law, including at the North Carolina Utilities Commission, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and the North Carolina Supreme Court in energy and telecommunications cases. He has a special interest in federal policy on net neutrality and universal service, and was a guest lecturer at the Campbell University School of Law on those subjects.
Britton has been a registered lobbyist in North Carolina since 2008. He has also practices education law, with a particular interest in issues related to school disciplinary procedure and special needs children.
He is a member of the N.C. State Bar and the N.C. Bar Association.
